Definition of Cultural Heritage.

Cultural heritage is the legacy of physical artifacts and intangible attributes of society inherited from past generations. It is the legacy that we receive from the past, experience in the present, and transmit to future generations.

Aboriginal Cultural Heritage refers to the knowledge and storytelling, practices and people, objects and places that are valued, culturally meaningful and connected to identity on Turtle Island.

The Seven Grandfather Teachings are the principles of character that each Anishinaabe should live by. They form the foundation of our Indigenous way of life.

Medicine Wheel Teachings

The Medicine Wheel teaches us that we have four aspects to ourselves: the physical, the mental, the emotional, and the spiritual. Each must be in balance and equally developed in order for us to remain healthy, happy individuals.
